hi I am Charlie Luke's jockey. I thought I would let you know how I have done with him! Luke is a great pony who does absolutely everything. we have had great success this year even though it was our second season together; including qualifying for horse of the year show and the royal international horse show. (we did great at both), with Luke behaving himself as usual  in an electric atmosphere and doing his extravagant movement as always!!! we went to royal Windsor horse show to try and qualify for Olympia horse show , but we came second out of a huge class and we went through to the evening performance later on at 8.00! he was an absolute star and I could not of asked ay more of him! we got a standing ovation as we crossed the diagonal to change the rein. he went across like an Olympic dressage horse and his individual gallop received a massive applaud as well! Luke and I also do jumping (workers) and he is absolutely great considering I am a little nervous jumping but when I jump him I feel safe and confident! we have been doing a little training in dressage a the moment and my trainer would like me to train for BYRDS ( British young riders dressage squad!) he has become good at his lateral work and is beginning to understand the aids I give him ver so quickly. he loves to hack out in groups an is not stallion like at all as I can ride side by side down a rode with a mare in season and he does not react at all!  he likes to jump logs and broken hedges too! he is a fab pony and I love him to bits! he is a pony in a million!
